Accounts at Assante Connect require a minimum balance of $1,000 in order to be invested in the selected portfolio.  Don't worry as you can still open an account if you aren't able to meet the minimum right away.  Any money you have with Assante Connect below this amount will be held in cash.  Assante Connect won't charge you any management fees on your assets until your funds have been invested.
